Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth with a mandatory, deep understanding of Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) requirements. The successful candidate will oversee the framework for estimating credit losses, including ACL and CECL methodologies, and ensure regulatory compliance in accounting policies. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. The CFO will oversee all aspects of fiscal health, ensuring adherence to industry standards while fostering innovation in financial practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Directing activities of the Accounting, Collections and IT Departments in accordance with Credit Union policy and objectives.
  • Analyzes credit union performance standards for compliance, risk, and to preserve assets.
  • Monitors accounting activities, policies and programs and ensures training function is properly administered to ensure personnel are competent and qualified.
  • Monitoring and directing investment and asset/liability activities, formulating and executing investment policies.
  • Direct financial reporting processes—interpreting complex financial data into clear reports for senior leadership and regulatory agencies—while maintaining transparency and accuracy.
  • Provides safekeeping, control and accounting for assets and securities. Implements and reviews asset liability risk management initiatives, evaluates and maintains cash liquidity, evaluating and initiating actions to insure investment performance meets targets, compliance and competition.
  • Assists in the preparation of short-term and long-rang plans, and ensures budgeted goals are achieved . In addition, this position will analyze individual department budgets and prepare annual operating budgets and quarterly call reports.
  • Manages information and data flow between departments and internal and external interfaces to meet credit union established goals and objectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 5 – 10 years of similar or related experience in a financial institution.

Previous credit union/banking experience preferred, but not required. Excellent benefits. EOE/M/F

Full Time Teller – Broken Arrow

Western Sun Federal Credit Union in Broken Arrow has an immediate opening for a Full Time Teller. Hours are Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities include:

*Greeting members and providing them with exceptional member service.

*Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.

*Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to all credit union policies and procedures.

*Answer phones, provide account histories, transfer funds, research accounts, identify and resolve member issues and cross sell credit union products and services in a fast paced environment.

Previous credit union/banking experience, cash handling and customer service experience preferred and bilingual is a plus, but not required. Excellent benefits. High School Diploma and ability to be bonded required. EOE/M/F
