Money Orders
Money orders by Travelers Express are available at Western Sun. This is a valuable alternative to using checks when you need to keep an accurate record of a purchase or when you give money to someone. Lost money orders can be replaced 60 days after the purchase. Money orders may be written in the exact total of purchase or payment or up to $1000.
Notary Service
Western Sun provides full time notary service for its member at no cost. This must be done at one of the Western Sun locations. Please bring your picture identification.
Gift Cards
Gift Cards are great to give as a gift, to use when you are traveling or as an alternative means if you cannot open a checking account. You can purchase a variety of different cards and "fill" it with however much money you would like, from $10-$500. Enjoy the convenience by using them wherever Visa is accepted.
Electronic Tax Filing
They say there are only a few things you can expect to happen in life and paying your taxes is one of them. Western Sun provides a resource for our members' seasonally. This service is at a reasonably low cost and the refund is deposited directly into your savings or checking account within 10-14 days.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment
(AD&D)
Although no one likes to think of accidents or death, injuries and death do occur. Western Sun provides its members a little comfort in this situation. Upon completing and returning the enrollment form for the free insurance plan provided to members 18 years old and above, the member will be provided $1000 of free coverage. Additional coverage is available at the member's expense.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) is a program that provides insurance to a member of Western Sun in the event they are accidentally dismembered or for the dependents of the insured in the event of the member's accidental death.
